Guidelines for importing transactions from an Excel template
Are you switching to MoneyMinder and want to import your group’s historical data from Excel?
The cost is $19 per financial year you would like to import.
We will import one financial year during your trial. We would be happy to import other past financial years once your subscription has started.
Click the words Basic-Transaction-Import-Sheet under Article Attachments at the bottom of this page to download the template.
We will import financial transactions that have been entered into the provided template. The Memo and Details columns are optional. Please do not add extra columns.
- A budget will be imported along with the transactions if one hasn’t already been entered.
- All transactions must be within the financial year set up in MoneyMinder.
- Date format for transactions must be in M/D/YYYY.
- The withdrawal column does not require a negative value.

Please include:
- Your account name
- Group ID number
- The financial year you’d like the transactions imported into
